Fleetwood Town vs QPR live stream: Watch today’s FA Cup online, team news & stats
Fleetwood Town vs QPR takes place on Saturday at 3pm (UK time).
Former Celtic hatchet-man Scott Brown will be looking to continue the good work he has so far produced at the Highbury Stadium when he welcomes Championship side QPR to Lancashire. The Super Hoops have former Liverpool coach and Aston Villa assistant manager Neil Critchley at the helm. His side are in a tailspin at the minute following Michael Beale’s departure to Rangers, so he could do with a pick-me-up here.

Fleetwood Town team news
Wins over Oxford City and Ebbsfleet United have secured The Fishermen their position in the FA Cup third round, with Paddy Lane netting a brace against the former. He will be hoping to build on his tally, as will Carlos Mendes Gomes, who is Fleetwood’s top scorer so far in League One. Gerard Garner has also proven potent, having netted the winning goal against Ebbsfleet in the round prior. It was also his strike that settled the score in the EFL Cup first round against Championship side Wigan, so he certainly knows how to score against high-tier opposition.
QPR team news
Goals have been an issue since Critchley rocked up at Loftus Road in early December, with his side netting just twice in five games. Those were bagged by Ilias Chair, who was in the Morocco squad that claimed fourth in the recent World Cup, and Jimmy Dunne, who had a stint playing for Fleetwood Town in 2019/20.
Chair has been a standout star for the Londoners this term. The pint-sized wizard currently ranks first in the Championship for chances created (67) and expected assists (7.72). It’s hard to knock the achievements of Morocco boss Walid Regragui, but it does seem strange he completely snubbed the creative force until the third-place play-off match against Croatia.
Still, Critchley certainly wouldn’t have minded as his star man returned to QPR fresh, and has already netted post-World Cup.
Scoreline prediction: Fleetwood Town 1-2 QPR
