England team news
It’s expected that Southgate will use this game to see a number of players who didn’t feature against Italy last time out. Ivan Toney, in particular, is expected to make his full Three Lions debut. John Stones is available following suspension but his Manchester City teammate Jack Grealish will sit out due to serving a ban. Jordan Henderson is expected to feature while the likes of Aaron Ramsdale, Kieran Trippier, Luke Shaw and Mason Mount push for starts.
Germany team news
After suffering their first defeat under manager Hansi Flick the four-time world champions are expected to ring in some changes. Antonio Rudiger is suspended with either Thilo Kehrer, Nico Schlotterbeck or Matthias Ginter coming in for the Real Madrid centre-back. There are no fresh injury worries for Flick who could hand Chelsea forward Kai Havertz a start with Bayern Munich youngster Jamal Musiala, who snubbed England to represent his birth nation, supporting him in attack.
Scoreline prediction: England 1-1 Germany
