Chelsea will be looking to end their Champions League group stage campaign on a high when they host Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday at 8pm (UK time).
The Blues lost their opening game of the group against Zagreb but after drawing with Red Bull Salzburg went on to win their next three matches, securing top spot last week. Zagreb, meanwhile, have been eliminated from the Champions League but can still qualify for the Europa League.

Potter says Chelsea must endure ‘process of pain’ in order to improve
Chelsea may have beat Salzburg last week to secure top spot (thanks to AC Milan beating Dinamo Zagreb) but they go into this game off the back of a defeat. At the weekend Graham Potter’s unbeaten start to life at Chelsea was brought to an end in quite humiliating fashion, losing 4-1 to former club Brighton.
The defeat was Chelsea’s third league game in a row without victory, having also drawn with Brentford and Manchester United, and highlighted the problems at the club. These were problems that had plagued Thomas Tuchel before his departure and must now be solved by Potter, should he indeed be the head of the long-term project at Chelsea.

While some Chelsea fans want and even demand immediate results, Potter has admitted there will be pain on the road to progress and eventual improvements.
“It was not a pleasant afternoon for us but you have to have that sometimes if you want to make progress,” he said of the defeat to Brighton.
“If you think the line is just going to go straight up, it’s impossible. That team that you see out there for Brighton wasn’t the team that was there three years ago. It’s a process of pain that you have to go through and you have to keep trying to improve.
“I don’t know any other way. Whenever you’re trying to master something or get better at it, you need to sometimes have a bit of a step back or you have to suffer or you have to go through a bad experience to then grow and be better.
“That’s how I see it anyway. It’s a case of analysing the game, being calm, being fair.”
