Brighton v Tottenham live stream: Watch today’s Premier League online
Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to bounce back from their mini slump when they travel to face Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday at 5:30pm (UK time).
Antonio Conte’s side returned from the international break with a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal, their first league loss of the season, and were unable to turn things around in midweek suffering a goalless draw with Eintracht Frankfurt. Brighton, meanwhile, have started life post-Graham Potter well with a 3-3 draw against Liverpool at Anfield in Roberto De Zerbi’s first game in charge.
Tottenham are grieving the loss of fitness coach Gian Piero Ventrone, who passed away this week aged 61. Conte, who also worked with Ventrone as a Juventus player in the 90s, cancelled Thursday’s press conference as a mark of respect.
“We are devastated to announce that Gian Piero Ventrone has passed away,” read a statement issued by Tottenham on Thursday morning.
“As lovable off the pitch as he was demanding on it, Gian Piero quickly became a hugely popular figure with players and staff. He will be greatly missed by everyone at the club and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this impossibly sad time.”

Enock Mwepu is also out, still suffering from illness picked up in Mali while on international duty with Zambia. Jakub Moder is a long-term absentee with a knee injury.
Tottenham team news
Emerson is suspended after his red card against Arsenal last weekend and will miss the next three league matches, with Ryan Sessegnon, Matt Doherty and Djed Spence fighting to replace him on the left. However, a start doesn’t look likely for Spence with Conte recently revealing he hasn’t been doing enough to warrant a place in the XI.
Tottenham are also without Japhet Tanganga, Dejan Kulusevski and Lucas Moura, so Conte will stick with his front three of Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and Richarlison. But the Italian will also have an eye on the midweek Champions League game against Eintracht Frankfurt, which Tottenham will need to win to keep their last 16 hopes in their own hands.
