After a terribly inconsistent season, Barcelona finally seem to have hit their stride, going unbeaten in their last 10 games across all competitions with seven wins and three draws, including beating Napoli across two leagues to seal their place in the Champions League quarter-finals. The Blaugrana’s most impressive result in that run, however, has to be their resounding 3-0 win away at Atletico Madrid last time out, thanks to goals from Joao Felix, Robert Lewandowski and Fermin Lopez. However, Barca still trail Real Madrid by eight points and know they must be perfect from here and hope for miracles elsewhere if they’re to retain the title.

Up next is a Las Palmas side sat comfortably in 11th place, a massive 12 points clear of relegation trouble. Most of that good work was done earlier in the campaign with Garcia Pimienta’s side now winless in their last five, losing against Athletic Club and Almeria at home most recently without scoring a goal. The latter defeat was most disappointing given Almeria hadn’t picked up a single victory beforehand.

Scoreline prediction: Barcelona 3-0 Las Palmas
