Fiorentina vs Juventus build-up, previous line-ups & injury news:
A recent four-game winless streak (which included three losses) dragged Fiorentina back into a potential relegation fight. However, last time out they ran out 1-2 winners at Hellas Verona, which now leaves them five points above the dropzone. A much needed win, it was only their second in Serie A since February ended and that previous success also came on the road (1-4 v Benevento), La Viola’s most recent home triumph came against Spezia earlier that month and since then Giuseppe Iachini’s side have picked up just one point from 12 available at Stadio Artemio Franchi. If they’re able to claim all three points then Fiorentina would register back-to-back league wins for the first time this season.
As for Juventus it’s looking very likely their unprecedented domination of Italian football is coming to an end. Coming into this season Andrea Pirlo’s side were seeking a 10th successive championship but with six matches remaining they are 11 points behind leaders Inter Milan now managed by Antonio Conte the manager who set this incredible streak in motion. That being said, they can still finish second, and there’s a semblance of momentum having won three of their last four league outings. But the Bianconeri haven’t been impressive on the road of late. Juve arrive in Florence on the back of just one win across five previous away trips (1-3 v Cagliari) a stretch of period which includes narrow defeats against Napoli (1-0) and Atalanta (1-0).
- Fiorentina (vs Hellas Verona): Dragowski; Martínez Quarta, Pezzella, Cáceres; Venuti, Pulgar, Bonaventura, Amrabat, Biraghi; Vlahovic, Ribéry.
- Juventus (vs Parma): Buffon; Danilo, Bonucci, De Ligt, Alex Sandro; Cuadrado, Arthur, Bentancur, McKennie; Dybala, Ronaldo.
Erick Pulgar and Giacomo Bonaventura are both suspended for the hosts whilst Fiorentina must also do without injured duo Borja Valero and Alexander Kokorin. Merih Demiral and Federico Chiesa are the only players missing for Juventus this weekend.

Players to watch: Dusan Vlahovic (Fiorentina)
It goes without saying having both a consistent source of goals and competent defence goes a long way in preventing a side from suffering relegation. Jury is out on the latter but there’s no question Dusan Vlahovic has stepped up this season in a Fiorentina jersey. The 21-year-old Serbian centre-forward has only been outscored by six players in Serie A and his 16 strikes is the most by a Fiorentina player in a single top-flight campaign since Alberto Gilardino bagged 19 goals in 2008/09. He’s also in good recent form having netted seven goals across his last six league appearances. Vlahovic also got his name on the scoresheet in the reverse fixture when Fiorentina incredibly ran out 0-3 winners in Turin.
