FIFA 22: Every player with five-star skill moves

FIFA 22 is here, and we wanted to help you play with maximum flair and give you a list of all the five-star skill players in FIFA 22.

As always, the excitement is building with gamers already planning their Ultimate Teams in their heads ready to get going on their quests for glory in a revamped Weekend League.

Last season, pace was a big part of online play, particularly in Ultimate Team, but perhaps even more important was skill moves. For the serious Ultimate Teamers, a player with less than four-star skill moves wasn’t worth having after the first few months of the game.

The ability to move out of tight spots is crucial in Ultimate Team, especially around your opponent’s area as you look to get the edge in a tough match. It’s the same in other game modes, too, whether you’re chasing the Treble in Career Mode, a division title on Pro Clubs, or just regular (or co-op) head-to-head seasons.

When the right skills are used at the right time and in the right combination, five-star skillers can be unstoppable — especially with the first-touch moves available in FIFA 22. That’s why they can be so popular on Ultimate Team, where prices often rise if a footballer boasts the skills to pay the bills, unbelievable tekkers, silks, or whatever you want to call them.

But even before the game was officially released, FIFA players with early access noticed a bug that had completely taken five-star skillers out of the equation. From Neymar and Lionel Messi to the lowest-rated cards in the game, everyone had seen their Skill Moves lose a star. So Neymar did not have his usual five-star skill moves and Messi had dropped down to three. Three!

That has since been rectified, and FIFA 22 boasts a grand total of 51 five-star skillers, excluding ICONs and any Hero cards (a drop of one from FIFA 21), ranging from 91-rated Kylian Mbappe to Philadelphia Union’s Brazilian super-sub Ilsinho. But who else made this list? Take a look below…
