Feyenoord will be looking to maintain their perfect start in the Eredivisie when they host Go Ahead Eagles at De Kuip on Sunday afternoon (13:30 UK time).
The Rotterdammers were imperious on the opening weekend as they brushed Willem II aside while their visitors were unlucky to not register a point in their first Dutch top division game since 2017.

Feyenoord vs Go Ahead Eagles build-up, previous line-ups & injury news:
After ending an 18-year championship drought in 2017 the Rotterdammers average finishing place since has been 3.75 with last season being a disappointing campaign. Then under the auspices of Dick Advocaat they finished fifth despite winning two more matches than the previous year. Feyenoord, now led by Arne Slot, began with a comfortable 0-4 win at Willem II which subsequently extended their Eredivisie winning streak to four games. At home they’ve won seven of their last 10 matches with the only major setback being a 0-3 loss against champions Ajax.
Go Ahead Eagles made their Eredivisie return after four seasons away last weekend but they were unable to celebrate as they fell to a 0-1 defeat against Heerenveen subsequently extending their losing streak in the Dutch top division to seven matches. On the road GAE have lost their last three games on the bounce which includes an 8-0 loss to Feyenoord – in fact across 15 previous away trips they’ve won just twice (against NEC and Twente).
- Feyenoord (vs Elfsborg): Bijlow; Pedersen, Trauner, Senesi, Malacia; Kökcü, Toornstra; Jahanbakhsh, Til, Sinisterra; Linssen.

As for Kees van Wonderen’s side they will be travelling to Rotterdam without the services of injured trio Joris Kramer, Frank Ross and Sam Crowther.

Player to watch: Luis Sinisterra (Feyenoord)
You can make the argument Luis Sinisterra took a small step backwards last season. The 22-year-old Feyenoord winger registered three goals and six assists in 20 league appearances; he managed two more goals and the same number of assists in a game more during the 2019/20 campaign – his breakthrough year. Sinisterra has started 2021/22 well having struck in the Rotterdammers opening game — a 0-4 win at Willem II — before striking thrice in their recent UEFA Europa Conference League qualification match against Elfsborg.
