Football is a fickle business and the people’s choice can become yesterday’s man in the blink of an eye as fan pressure and poor results quickly take their toll on a manager’s job security.

So it’s no surprise to see several Premier League coaches having their jobs called into question after thoroughly unconvincing starts to the 2019/20 season.

After all, if former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino can be shown the door a matter of months after leading his team out for a Champions League final – is anybody truly safe from the sack?

Well, yes. Jurgen Klopp is. The Liverpool boss is currently immune to any talk of a departure given the stature he enjoys at Anfield.

But what about those who are not so fortunate? Just across Stanley Park, Everton boss Marco Silva appears to be coming to the end of his spell on Merseyside.

The atmosphere is turning toxic and, such is the poor form the Toffees are enduring at present, Silva is now 11/4 to be the ‘next Premier League manager to go’.

And West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini, who is available at 5/1, has the look of a beaten man as he attempts to figure out why his side’s form has dropped off a cliff – and what exactly possessed him to sign Roberto.

Arsenal chief Unai Emery is as short as 4/9 and is also facing growing speculation over his suitability to continue to lead the Gunners as his tactics seem to spark confusion rather than confidence among his players.

So, with several managers sweating over their long-term futures, we’ve ranked every top-flight coach from ‘sacked to safe’ to figure out which managers are truly in danger of being told told to sling their hook.

Watch the video at the top of the article to hear Adam McKola and Jamie Jackson rank the Premier League managers in full.
