Botman replacement revealed
Every week, we will bring you a Differential Duel to shine a light on a player who both ranks well according to our Squawka Score system and could be being overlooked by the majority of FPL players.
We will do the numbers and pit them against each other but, ultimately, the power is in your hands.
Ahead of Gameweek 9, we look for a replacement for Sven Botman (16.1%), who continues to struggle with a knee problem.
The injury put an end to the great run of form that Botman was experiencing, picking up 30 points from his opening six fixtures.
We believe we’ve identified the perfect replacement, though, and it comes in the form of his teammate Fabian Schar.
Schar has played the full 90 minutes in every Premier League game this season, picking up 26 points in the process and, with Newcastle having some favourable fixtures in the next few weeks, Schar could be the perfect replacement for the injured Botman.
Here’s how their 2023/24 stats compare on our Comparison Matrix.
