The first Fantasy Premier League double gameweek of the season has come and gone with a host of key FPL assets delivering twice over recent days. 

Aston Villa beat Newcastle 2-0 at Villa Park to round off an action-packed gameweek as John Stones top-scored with 27 points across two games for Manchester City.

Wolves 2-3 West Brom

West Brom picked up their first league win under Sam Allardyce, coming from behind at half-time with Matheus Pereira scoring twice from the penalty spot.

Leicester move into second place in the Premier League with James Maddison and Harvey Barnes on target at the King Power Stadium.

Sheffied United 1-3 Tottenham

Serge Aurier, Harry Kane and Tanguy Ndombele grabbed the goals as Spurs got back to winning ways against bottom side Sheffield United. David McGoldrick gave the visitors a brief scare in the second half but the Blades stay 11 points from safety.

Liverpool 0-0 Manchester United

An anti-climactic affair at Anfield saw Liverpool and Manchester United play out a stalemate. Thiago, Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba went closest as the home side extended their winless run in the league to four games.

This is good as it’s got for Manchester United in the Premier League since Sir Alex Ferguson. The Red Devils are still an enticing 6/1 to win a first league title since Ferguson departed in 2013.

Manchester City 4-0 Crystal Palace

Two goals from John Stones either side of Ilkay Gundogan’s stunning curler put City in charge before a sweet free-kick from Raheem Sterling crowned a fine win for the hosts.

Arsenal 3-0 Newcastle

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang rediscovered his scoring boots as he bagged a brace in a comfortable victory over Newcastle at Emirates Stadium. Bukayo Saka added gloss to the scoreline as the Gunners moved into the top half with victory.

Arsenal have won five of their last six after a reversal in fortunes under Mikel Arteta. They’re a massive 16/1 to haul themselves into the Champions League places by May (they’re only seven points back!). 

West Ham 2-1 West Brom

Michail Antonio scored the winner to seal his third three-point bonus haul in the space of five days. Matheus Pereira had earlier cancelled out Jarrod Bowen’s opener.

West Ham have kept four clean sheets in five, winning on four of those occasions. Take a punt on West Ham to beat Crystal Palace to nil in their next Premier match (3/1 Sky Bet).

Leicester 2-0 Chelsea

Goals for Wilfried Ndidi and James Maddison in the first half sealed the victory as the Foxes climbed to the top of the Premier League table, simultaneously piling the pressure onto beleaguered Blues boss Frank Lampard.

Goals from Ollie Watkins and Bertrand Traore wrapped up a comfortable win for Villa as they moved level on points with Chelsea despite playing two fewer than the Blues.
