10. Martin Odegaard
- GW14 fixture: Wolves (H)
- Predicted points: 5.2
Arsenal are flying high in the Premier League table, with three of their midfielders making the current top 10. Martin Odegaard returned from injury in Gameweek 13 and as the captain of the side is expected to be a permanent feature over the congested fixture schedule. He scored in the 6-0 Champions League win against Lens on Wednesday but team-mate Kai Havertz did take a penalty in the latter stages while Odegaard was on the pitch.

9. Trent Alexander-Arnold
- GW14 fixture: Fulham (H)
- Predicted points: 5.2
Trent Alexander-Arnold is the only defender to make the AI top ten for FPL Gameweek 14 ahead of Liverpool’s home game against Fulham. The Cottagers have scored just six goals on the road this season, but Liverpool will be without goalkeeper Alisson for this fixture. Brazilian who picked up a hamstring injury in the 1-1 draw with Manchester City last weekend, where Alexander-Arnold scored his first goal of this Premier League season.
8. Gabriel Martinelli
- GW14 fixture: Wolves (H)
- Predicted points: 5.2
Arsenal left winger Gabriel Martinelli has started the last five Premier League games since returning from injury and found himself back on the scoresheet in the Champions League this midweek. He’s created 13 chances for his team-mates in this period, the most of any Arsenal player. Despite patchy returns, the return from injury for Gabriel Jesus could see him produce his best football, having chalked up 24 goal involvements last season.
7. Anthony Gordon
- GW14 fixture: Man Utd (H)
- Predicted points: 5.3
With injuries remaining a big concern for Newcastle, winger Anthony Gordon has been their shining light recently, with three goals and an assist in the last five gameweeks. Gordon has completed 90 minutes in each of the last four Premier League fixtures. The Magpies have also won six of their last seven home games while Gordon has produced an attacking return in every single game at St James’ Park this season.
6. Son Heung-min
- GW14 fixture: Man City (A)
- Predicted points: 5.7
Tottenham’s out of position striker Son Heung-min continues to shine in the AI predictions despite three consecutive blanks and a tricky trip to Manchester City up next. He did everything but get on the scoresheet last weekend against Aston Villa, with a hat-trick of goals ruled out for offside. It is thought that Son is on penalties for Tottenham which could be another important route to fantasy points, but he will miss the creativity from the injured James Maddison in this one.
5. Bryan Mbeumo
- GW14 fixture: Luton (H)
- Predicted points: 5.9
Brentford are set for another kind fixture swing after coming through tough games against Arsenal and Liverpool. Midfielder Bryan Mbeumo should regain his form which saw him deliver two goals and three assists in three gameweeks in late October. He is the talisman of this Bees side, with a heavy involvement in set pieces, including penalties. Only Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah can better his 11.1 Expected Goal involvements for this campaign.
4. Bukayo Saka
- GW14 fixture: Wolves (H)
- Predicted points: 6.0
Arsenal talisman Bukayo Saka is a popular fantasy transfer in for Gameweek 14, as the form and fixtures align for the Gunners going into the busy festive schedule. Saka looks to have put his injury concerns behind him, with four assists in his last five games. He may well still be first choice penalty taker when on the pitch. Saka has also created four Big Chances in the last four gameweeks, and will be in the captaincy conversation this week.
3. Darwin Nunez
- GW14 fixture: Fulham (H)
- Predicted points: 6.3
Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez continues to be in the forward conversation for this season, with a small pool of viable options to pick from, as only two strikers to make this top 10. He is in form, with one goal and four assists in the last six gameweeks, including five starts in that time. Nunez produced attacking returns home and away against Fulham last season, with a goal and an assist from the bench for his Premier League debut.
2. Mohamed Salah
- GW14 fixture: Fulham (H)
- Predicted points: 7.4
Mohamed Salah completes a trio of Liverpool picks for this standout fixture against Fulham, who are without a clean sheet in their last seven games. Salah has a flawless record at Anfield this season, scoring in every single game. In total he has eight goals on home turf from six fixtures, with penalties being an important source of points for him. Salah produced double digit hauls home and away against Fulham last season.
1. Erling Haaland
- GW14 fixture: Tottenham (H)
- Predicted points: 8.5
A tricky home encounter against Tottenham does not put AI off backing captain Erling Haaland in FPL this week, who has seven goal involvements at home this season: six goals and one assist. He scored against them in this fixture last season and has the recent form too, with five goals and two assists in his last four fixtures. Tottenham are also still without centre-back Christian Romero through suspension and have conceded eight goals in their last four games.
