Everton v West Ham team news, confirmed line-ups and prediction

Everton will be hoping to end a run of four successive defeats in the Premier League when they host West Ham on Saturday.
Defeat for the Toffees this weekend could spell the end for Marco Silva, with the Portuguese tactician under serious pressure following a dismal start to the campaign.

Ones to watch
Everton: Richarlison
Everton have been exceptionally lukewarm in recent weeks but if they are to stop the rot and pull themselves out of the relegation mire they currently find themselves in, then Silva will need his best players firing on all cylinders, and one man who has the propensity to turn on the charm at any given moment is Richarlison.
The Brazilian forward hasn’t been in his best form this season but remains the Toffees’ top scorer, which isn’t saying a lot on two goals. Three points this weekend will ultimately hinge on whether Richarlison turns up – he has the ability to put West Ham to the sword.
Key stat: Richarlison has completed more take-ons than any Everton midfielder or forward in the Premier League this season.
West Ham: Manuel Lanzini
Everything positive about West Ham this season has come through Lanzini, who has made a remarkable recovery from the ruptured anterior knee ligament injury sustained in June 2018. The Argentine’s quick feet and vision have instilled new invention to Manuel Pellegrini’s frontline, which was sorely lacking last season, and will be extremely difficult to contain this weekend for Everton.
Key stat: Lanzini has completed more take-ons (18) in the Premier League than any West Ham player this season and created more chances (17).

Squawka prediction
Although Everton have been in shocking form of late, they do possess the talent to pick up points against any side in the division. Silva has had two weeks to contemplate tactics and will no doubt shuffle the pack from the defeat to Burnley.
West Ham meanwhile showed their frailties against Crystal Palace and could struggle to overcome an Everton side who are simply desperate for points. With Silva’s job on the line, Everton could pull off a big result here and get their season back on track.
Scoreline prediction: Everton 3-1 West Ham
