Frank Lampard’s side know a win would keep them safe from relegation with one game to spare, but even a draw would put them on the brink, needing a point from the final day. Crystal Palace, meanwhile, could move into the top half of the table with a win.

Everton team news

Everton will suffer the fallout of their 3-2 defeat to Brentford at the weekend in more ways than one. As well as missing out on the chance to seal safety on Sunday, Everton saw Jarrad Branthwaite and Salomon Rondon sent off against Brentford, ruling them out of this match.

The Toffees will also be without centre-back pair Yerry Mina and Ben Godfrey, though Michael Keane will return from illness at just the right time. Donny van de Beek is also expected return, but Fabian Delph, Andros Townsend and Nathan Patterson are definitely out.

Crystal Palace team news

Crystal Palace come into their penultimate game of the season quite healthy, with just four first team players currently out. Nathan Ferguson is still a long-term absentee, while James Tomkins and James McArthur are expected to have a better chance of playing on Sunday than Thursday.

But the big blow was the injury to Michael Olise prior to Palace’s trip to Villa Park on Sunday, with Vieira confirming the youngster will not play again this season.
