Haaland’s City move confirmed

Beware Premier League defences. As if Manchester City weren’t relentless enough in their pursuit for silverware, the news was announced on Tuesday that one of the most coveted strikers in world football is set to join them this summer.

Erling Haaland, still only 21 years old, has been nothing short of a striking sensation since joining Molde aged just 16 and with power, pace, a lethal finish and a tall frame that makes him threatening in the air, he seems to be the complete package.

After 17 goals in just 16 league games for Red Bull Salzburg, Haaland has thus far racked up a mightily impressive 61 in 66 in the Bundesliga for Borussia Dortmund and even managed 15 goals in his first 17 caps for Norway.

Given that the Citizens missed out on Harry Kane last summer, Pep Guardiola will undoubtedly be delighted to get this transfer over the line and the 21 year old will certainly add a different element to an already mightily impressive attack.

Haaland 2022/2023 Betting Tips

The Kevin de Bruyne assist markets look particularly tantalising given the Belgian midfield maestro’s passing range and as one of the main set-piece takers for City, Haaland’s aerial prowess may come into play here. De Bruyne to assist 5+ Haaland goals next season at 1/1 looks very tempting.

He’s 10/11 to finish with more shots on target than Kane in the Premier League next term.

City are odds-on to win the Premier League next season and with Haaland’s striking prowess added to their already impressive ranks, can they be stopped next year?
