Inter and Argentina icon Diego Milito has urged compatriot Paulo Dybala to relocate to the San Siro when his contract at Juventus expires at the end of this month.

Dybala, 28, has already confirmed that he will be leaving The Old Lady this summer upon the expiration of his current deal in Turin, and a string of clubs have naturally been linked with his name, not least Inter.

After seven trophy-spangled years at the Allianz Stadium, in which Juve’s current vice-captain netted 115 goals in 293 games, he will be leaving the 36-time Serie A champions with a heavy heart, describing his decision to part as difficult”.

Since confirming his Juve exit, Inter have entered the frame as one of the front-runners for his signature, as Simone Inzaghi looks to recover his side after they conceded the Scudetto to arch-rivals Milan last season.

With Dybala set to become a free agent, Inter great Milito believes his former club ‘must seize’ on the opportunity to sign the playmaker, while also urging his compatriot to join the Nerazzurri and exact “revenge” on Juve.

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milito said: “Everyone could use him. If there is a chance, then he must be seized [by Inter].

“He would be an asset in a team that is already complete. Dybala would be in the right club to reset and restart. And he wouldn’t change leagues; he knows Serie A well, he wouldn’t struggle.

“The team and the fans would welcome him, [and his] desire for revenge would make the difference.”

Of course, Inter aren’t the only club reportedly in the mix to convince Dybala to sign for them, with Roma another said to be keeping tabs on him. In fact, Giallorossi legend Francesco Totti has even gone on record to say he will try his best to “convince” him to join Jose Mourinho’s side.

“We’ll see if we can bring him to Rome,” Totti said lost month on Roma’s chances of signing Dybala.

“I’ll meet him on Monday and I hope to convince him.

“We’re in Milan for Eto’o’s match, we’ll play together and I’ll give him some advice.

“I’ll try to put something in his head, hopefully we’ll succeed. That is if Roma are the same mind as me.”
