Tottenham’s Danny Rose admits he is unsure of his future
Tottenham and England full-back Danny Rose is unsure whether he will stay at Spurs this summer.
The defender could be set to leave Mauricio Pochettino’s side before the start of the new campaign after claiming that the north London club moves players on once they reach a certain age.

Rose was strongly linked with a move last summer but the England international returned to fitness and won back his first-team place from Ben Davies.
The Spurs boss is expecting to talk to several players over the coming weeks as he looks to tweak his squad for the 2019/20 campaign.
Tottenham finished in the top four last season and also reached the Champions League final, where they lost to Liverpool.
When asked about his future following England’s Nations League third-place play-off win over Switzerland, the 28-year-old appeared to be laid back about his future.
“If I’m back at Tottenham next season, great, if I’m not – great,” the defender told Sky Sports. “I don’t know what the future holds now but I’m looking forward to a break.
“It’s not about regular first-team football. I know my age and I know how the club’s run in terms of if you get to a certain age they might look to ship you on.”
With the move to their new stadium now complete, there is added pressure on Spurs to compete in the transfer market with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.

Pochettino will be hopeful that the Spurs hierarchy will back him over the summer but that could also leave the exit door open for the likes of Rose.
“I’ll be just sitting tight over the next few weeks and just seeing what happens,” Rose added. “Either way, I’m prepared for whatever happens. Last season I didn’t play as much as I wanted. This season I’ve played quite a bit, it’s been really good.”
Rose played 37 times for Spurs during the 2018/19 season and appeared to finally overcome the long-term knee problems that have plagued him for the last couple of seasons.
He admitted that, even if he moves on, he is proud of what he has achieved at Spurs.
“As a whole I’m proud of what I’ve done individually and I’m over the moon about what the club has achieved as well. There have been some difficulties – no signings, playing at Wembley and I think the club and players have shown great character.
“We are in a good position for next season now and we will be raring to go because the final in Madrid was an unbelievable experience and it’s one I’d love to experience again.”
Tottenham face a busy summer and whether Rose leaves or not, there should be plenty of new faces through the door at White Hart Lane.
