Dani Alves has named Cristiano Ronaldo as his toughest opponent.

The pair have faced off across four different fixtures with the Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid being the most prominent.

Across their 30 matches played the Brazilian full-back has tasted 13 victories to Ronaldo’s ten. Alves and Ronaldo last met in a Champions League round of 16 second-leg tie at the Parc des Princes in March 2018 when Los Blancos ran out 2-1 winners over Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester United’s current ‘number seven’ got on the scoresheet that day and chances of them meeting again seems remote with Alves now plying his trade at Mexican outfit Pumas.
