Crystal Palace will want to end a seven-match losing streak when they face Tottenham Hotspur at Selhurst Park on the final Premier League weekend this season.
Roy Hodgson’s men were not long ago threatening a Europa League finish but have fallen by the wayside in recent weeks and currently find themselves seventh from bottom.
Spurs, meanwhile, can usurp Wolves (who are facing Chelsea at the same time) and secure another season of European football. The Lillywhites will also finish this campaign with a semblance of bragging rights as there’s no chance of north London rivals Arsenal finishing above them.

Players to watch:
Crystal Palace: A run of four consecutive Premier League wins that saw Palace become outsiders to secure Europa League football next season has been replaced by a seven-match losing streak during which period they’ve mustered just two goals. Both came in a 3-2 home loss against Chelsea and on that occasion it was Wilfred Zaha who found the net for his fourth effort this season. A year ago, the Ivorian winger sought an exit from Selhurst Park, so there’s a chance he may still be leaving for pastures new. Just how green those pastures are will depend on the impression he leaves on prospective suitors. Sunday, of course, is his last chance to do so for the 2019/20 season.
Tottenham: One win across six matches recently all but ended Spurs pursuit for Champions League football, thus also ending a run of four consecutive seasons playing in Europe’s premier club competition. However, Mourinho’s men are ending the campaign on a strong note and the re-introduction of Heung-min Son has been a pivotal factor. Since receiving an ear-lashing from club skipper Hugo Lloris, the South Korean forward has scored twice and created a further two in Spurs last three matches. He is also just one of three players to do a ‘double-double’ this Premier League season in filling both his personal goals and assists columns with double digits. The other two, for those curious, along with Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne.
Scoreline prediction: Crystal Palace 1-2 Tottenham
