It has not been a good season in the EuroLeague for Crvena zvezda, who currently sit bottom of the table with just one win from their opening seven games. The French side opened the season in defeat to Olimpia Milano having gave up a half-time lead but did immediately bounce back by beating Valencia by a solitary point. However, two defeats followed, with LDLC ASVEL losing back-to-back road games against Fenerbahce and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Things did take a step in the right direction at the start of November, with LDLC ASVEL beating Baskonia pretty comfortably, restricting the Spanish side to just nine points in the final quarter and they made it two in a row thanks to late comeback against Virtus Bologna. But their win streak ended there as last time out they were beaten by Zalgiris, this time being restricted to a single-digit score in the final quarter themselves.
