Frank Lampard is not expecting much business for Chelsea during the January Transfer Window as speculation mounts over his future at the club.

Following defeat to Manchester City on Sunday, Lampard briefly emerged as the new favourite to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job. Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has since moved back out with odds on Lampard being the next to go currently at 5/1 with Sky Bet.

It comes after a summer window where the Blues spent over £200m strengthening their squad.

Chelsea have been linked with Strasbourg defender Mohamed Simakan, 20, after reportedly failing to land Declan Rice in the summer transfer window. It is claimed Rice (3/1 to move across London this month) is still on Lampard’s radar but the Sky Bet market otherwise reflects Chelsea’s intention to sit tight for the time being.

The links to Simakan also come amid reports Fikayo Tomori will push to leave Stamford Bridge this month. Sergio Ramos (12/1) and Tyrone Mings (50/1) are outsiders to come in and fill any potential void before the February 2 deadline.

Chelsea to sign before February 2 odds (via Sky Bet):

  • Declan Rice 3/1
  • Sergio Ramos 12/1
  • Paul Pogba 16/1
  • Tyrone Mings 50/1
