A 2-0 defeat at home to Aston Villa proved the final straw for the Chelsea board, with former Brighton defender Bruno temporarily taking the reins for the visit of Liverpool.
While Bruno is unlikely to make wholesale changes, he will have Raheem Sterling and Wesley Fofana available after injury, while N’Golo Kante made his return from the bench on Saturday.
But the game may be too soon for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, while Eduoard Mendy, Cesar Azpilicueta and Thiago Silva remain absent.
