Chelsea player ratings for FIFA 20 in full

Chelsea have had an interesting season under Frank Lampard so far, in what surely must be described as a transitional year.
The Blues lost the likes of Eden Hazard, Gary Cahill and David Luiz last summer and have not signed anyone to replace them, having a transfer ban in the summer window.
Chelsea’s younger players have stepped up to a level but the Blues are still rated just 4.5 stars in FIFA 20, the first time they haven’t been 5 stars since FIFA 08
But what are the individual ratings? We’ve got you covered. Read on for Chelsea’s FIFA 20 player ratings and stats in full, as well as some tips.
Squad list and ratings based on players in latest downloadable update at time of publication (23/03/2020).
Chelsea FIFA 20 ratings: Goalkeepers
For years, Chelsea boasted high-rated goalkeepers in Petr Cech and then Thibaut Courtois, but now the Blues are slightly more average at the back. Kepa Arrizabalaga is 84-rated, nine ahead of current number one Willy Caballero.
Chelsea goalkeeper ratings for FIFA 20: Kepa Arrizabalaga (83), Willy Caballero (75), Jamie Cumming (57).
Chelsea FIFA 20 ratings: Defenders
A few senior members aside, Chelsea have quite a young defence in FIFA 20, with the likes of Andreas Christensen, Reece James and Fikayo Tomori bringing the average age – and rating – down, although the latter did get a big boost in the Winter Refresh.
Player to poach: Reece James is the obvious choice, with the world at his feet. Starting at 75-rated, the right-back – who can also play in the centre of defence and midfield – boasts 79 crossing and 73 shot power, and can rise as high as 86 with regards to his overall rating.
Chelsea defender ratings for FIFA 20: Cesar Azpilicueta (84), Antonio Rudiger (82), Marcos Alonso (81), Kurt Zouma (81), Andreas Christensen (80), Emerson (78), Fikayo Tomori (77), Reece James (75), Jack Wakely (59), Ian Maatsen (58), Marcel Lavinier (56).
Chelsea FIFA 20 ratings: Midfielders
All bar one of Chelsea’s players in FIFA 20 are rated 84 and lower. That one, understandably, is N’Golo Kante. He is the only Blues star in the top 100 players of the game, coming in with a rating of 89. Among midfielders, he is six higher than Chelsea team-mate Jorginho, while Mason Mount enjoyed a Winter Refresh boost.
Player to poach: Billy Gilmour, currently 64-rated, could be a good buy in Career Mode for those starting out with less-financially stable clubs. The Scottish central midfielder has the potential to rise as high as 84, which can either bring profit or a solid addition to a decent-level club.
Chelsea midfielder ratings for FIFA 20: N’Golo Kante (89), Jorginho (83), Mateo Kovacic (83), Ruben Loftus-Cheek (79), Ross Barkley (79), Mason Mount (79), Marco van Ginkel (76), Lewis Baker (71), Billy Gilmour (66), Jon Russell (57), Tino Anjorin (58), Thierno Ballo (55).
Chelsea FIFA 20 ratings: Forwards
Eden Hazard leaving Chelsea was always going to be a big hit, and the Belgian’s absence has Willian as the Blues’ highest-rated attacker at 82. The Brazilian is one ahead of Pedro and two of Christian Pulisic and Olivier Giroud, while starting striker Tammy Abraham is 78.
Player to poach: Naturally, there is only one option here. Callum Hudson-Odoi may only be 74-rated at FIFA 20’s kick off, but play your cards right in Career Mode and the exciting winger could reach as high as 88. But snap him up early.
Chelsea forward ratings for FIFA 20: Willian (82), Pedro (80), Olivier Giroud (80), Christian Pulisic (80), Michy Batshuayi (79), Tammy Abraham (78), Callum Hudson-Odoi (74), Armando Broja (61).
