The end is in sight for the conclusion of the 2020/21 Champions League group stages, and defending champions Bayern Munich remain among the favourites, understandably with the reigning Golden Boot winner at their disposal.

Robert Lewandowski was nothing short of phenomenal en route to winning the competition in August, scoring no fewer than 15 goals subsequently ending a Lionel Messi-Cristiano Ronaldo duopoly that ruled supreme for 12 years.

He finished five ahead of his closest challenger Erling Haaland, while Messi and Ronaldo posted three and four goals respectively.

Expect both Messi and Ronaldo, who face each other on matchday six, to strike back with venom, though Lewandowski will be determined to ensure his recent success is no fluke.

Here are the top-10 Champions League goalscorers so far.
