Manchester City will aim to bounce back from a disappointing draw against Nottingham Forest when they visit RB Leipzig on Wednesday night.
City have never won the Champions League, but they are currently 2/1 favourites with Bet365 to lift the trophy at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in June.
RB Leipzig, who beat Real Madrid in the group stages as they progressed to the last 16 as Group F runners-up, could be without Christopher Nkunku, while manager Marco Rose will be particularly wary of Erling Haaland’s threat, having worked with the striker at Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland has five goals in four Champions League appearances this season — more per 90 (1.81) than any player to score at least two goals in the competition this season.
Elsewhere, Inter Milan host Porto as the San Siro stages Champions League football for the second week running. After AC Milan’s win over Tottenham last week, Internazionale will hope to put one foot last eight after beating Barcelona to second spot in Group C before the World Cup break.
But Porto should not be underestimated. The Primeira Liga champions pulled off an upset themselves in the group stages, topping Group B ahead of Club Brugge, Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid.
