Achraf Hakimi

In the final season of his two-year loan from Real Madrid, the Morocco international has earned the reputation as one Europe’s most athletic full-backs.

No defender in Europe has completed more take-ons in 2019/20 and the 21-year-old frequently finds himself in the opposition box delivering the final cut-back to finish an incisive move.

Jadon Sancho

The England winger is the only player in Bundesliga history to score 25 goals before turning 20 and has provided more league assists since the start of the 2018/19 season than any other player in Europe’s top five divisions.

Sancho has a tally of 27 in that time with Lionel Messi three further back on 24 while Trent Alexander-Arnold and Angel Di Maria have 22 each.

Manchester City must wish that they could have convinced the Londoner to stay put.

Erling Haaland

The perfect storm of sheer athleticism, positional awareness and supreme confidence; BVB have a bonafide goal-scoring machine.

The Norwegian took the Champions League by storm by becoming the first teenager in the competition’s history to score in his first five Champions League appearances – and there’s much more to come.

Julian Brandt

A prime creator from a No.10 position during the Champions League group stages, Brandt was directly involved in more goals than any other Dortmund player.

But since moving into a deeper role alongside Axel Witsel, the 23-year-old has quickly become one of the most vital players in the side.
