CopyBet’s Belgian Grand Prix betting preview & offer: Bet £10, get £50 in free bets
After a packed Formula One schedule that has seen four races over the last five weeks, we head to Belgium for the final race before the summer break.
The Spa-Francorchamps circuit hosts the Belgian GP and it’s an exciting time for punters who like a Formula One bet. After the early season dominance of Max Verstappen, there have been six different winners in the last eight races and this once again looks set to be a hugely competitive and open contest.
Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton comes into this race in confident mood having won at the track four times in the past and landed three podium finishes in his last four races this season. Sportsbook CopyBet has Hamilton at 11/1 for the win and 6/4 to finish in the top three once again.

For one of the few times this season, Max Verstappen is not the pre race favourite in the betting. The Red Bull man is 7/2 which is the biggest price he’s been for a race victory since as far back as 2020. The major reason for this is because he has a grid penalty to deal with in Belgium and as a result, McLaren’s Lando Norris is the 1/1 front runner. Norris may only have one win to his name so far this season but the Englishman’s consistency in recent weeks has seen him close the gap on Verstappen to 76 points in the Drivers’ Championship standings.
With Norris, Hamilton and George Russell all tasting success this season, a British winner is the 4/7 odds on favourite in CopyBet’s ‘Winning Nationality’ market. A Dutch victory through Verstappen is 7/2 while a Spanish triumph for either Carlos Sainz Jnr or Fernando Alonso is a longer shot 28/1.
In the Constructors’ standings, Red Bull currently lead the way on 389 points, 51 points clear of McLaren in second spot. The bookies expect that gap to narrow after this weekend’s race, with McLaren 4/9 to take the win and Red Bull out at 3/1. Lewis Hamilton fans might be tempted by the 5/1 price on Mercedes, knowing that a victory for his teammate George Russell would also return a winning bet.
