Tottenham vs Wolves: Predictions
Tottenham’s unbeaten run in the Premier League under interim-manager Ryan Mason came crashing to an end last weekend as the Lilywhites made the journey up to Yorkshire where they were thumped 3-1 by Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United. The lacklustre performance from the N17 side pretty much summed up their season to date as they sit slumped outside of the Champions League spots.
Wolves turned around a half-time deficit against Brighton & Hove Albion in their last game out in the Premier League. However, much like Tottenham, Wolves have fallen well below the standards set by themselves in seasons gone by. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side has been depleted through injuries, but an optimistic target for them would be to finish 10th.
Perhaps these two sides are victims of overachieving in recent seasons, but this season has been incredibly dull on the footballing front for both. Harry Kane has been in stunning form for Spurs this season with the Englishman topping the goals and assists tally in the league.
The Wanderers have been boosted by a return to form from their main man in Adama Traore. The Spaniard has had a hugely disappointing campaign on the back of a highly impressive 2019/20 season. However, in recent weeks he has four goal involvements in his last six league games.

This is the forward’s best every return in the Premier League with 17 goals to his name for the campaign and with three games left he will certainly have his eye on breaking the 20 mark for the season.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is Tottenham’s most carded player this season. The Danish midfield general was brought in to disturb the opposition’s attacks and that is exactly what he has done this season. He may sometimes be forced into taking one for the team bu the 25-year-old has certainly been willing to do so and has eight yellow cards to his name for the seasonto date.
