West Brom vs West Ham: Predictions
West Brom suffered defeat on the weekend to Liverpool in the most extraordinary finish seen in the Premier League this season. The Baggies looked to have secured themselves a hard-fought draw on Sunday, however, in the dying minutes of the game Liverpool’s goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, headed home the winning goal.
West Ham’s Champions League dream has all but been destroyed with the Hammers slipping down to seventh spot and five points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea with just two games remaining. A point against Brighton & Hove Albion opened the door for their London rivals Spurs to leapfrog them into the top six on goal difference.
The future of Sam Allardyce at the Hawthorns is still unknown, however, one thing which is for sure will be his determination to get one over on his former side. There is nothing more than pride to play for as far as West Brom are concerned, but in front of their own fans, they will view this as their last hoorah in the English top-flight.
The Hammers have won just one of their last five games which has ultimately seen their European hopes fall out of their own hands. Their fate may rest in the hands of others, but anything less than all three points will be seen as a failure by Moyes ahead of Wednesday’s clash.

West Brom vs West Ham: Match Stats
No West Ham player has made more successful tackles than Vladimir Coufal (72) this season. The Czech international has had a sensational season in the Premier League and that is seen through his impressive tackling stats. For the Baggies, Conor Townsend’s season has been marred by injuries, however, the Englishman still has 36 successful tackles to his name.
Jesse Lingard is enduring somewhat of a goal drought by the standards he has set himself during his loan spell at West Ham. The English midfielder has nine league goals to his name since February but is without one in his last four league appearances. Against the worst defence in the top flight, we expect Lingard to view this as the perfect opportunity to bring his drought to an end.

The points have been shared fairly evenly between these two sides over the years. David Moyes’ side took all three in their last meeting and the same will be imperative on Wednesday night if they wish to keep their Europa League hopes alive.
