West Brom vs Sheffield United: Betting tips, predictions, odds & match preview
It’s 20th versus 19th in the Premier League this weekend as Sheffield United and West Brom go in search of a first win at the Hawthorns.
West Brom vs Sheffield United: Predictions
The season is still very much in its infancy, but one or two nerves have just started to permeate the West Brom and Sheffield United dugouts, with both clubs yet to taste victory this campaign, the only two remaining clubs in the Premier League without a win.
Newly-promoted West Brom have pulled off some big results including an away point at Brighton and that 3-3 draw with Chelsea, but just three points from nine games makes for grim viewing if you’re Slaven Bilic.
Sheff Utd meanwhile are suffering from a bout of ‘Second Season Syndrome’, with the Blades currently rooted to the foot of the table having lost eight of their nine matches this term, collecting the solitary point against Fulham.
So, the emphasis could not be greater this weekend for win in both camps. A proverbial six-pointer if ever there was one at such an early stage of the season, this game could have huge ramifications come the final game of the campaign in May.

West Brom vs Sheffield United: Match Stats
While it is yet unclear the true capacity of Bilic’s West Brom in the Premier League, Chris Wilder’s side have proven they can beat any club in the division on their day, typified by their brilliant ninth-place finish last term, and a string of impressive results against the likes of Arsenal, Spurs, Man Utd and Chelsea.
This could well be the game for the Blades to get their season up and running and gain some parity in this early race for safety. It should bode well for Wilder that no team has conceded more Premier League goals this season than West Brom (18), but they themselves are the only side yet to keep a clean sheet.
It will be a tight contest, and West Brom have looked solid in recent games, particularly with the introduction of Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher, who has registered more tackles than any Baggies player this term despite featuring just five times — he is averaging 4.2 tackles per 90 minutes.
