West Brom vs Man Utd: Predictions
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have won just two of their last six Premier League games, although one of them was that memorable 9-0 thrashing of Southampton. The Red Devils’ latest disappointment was twice throwing away their lead to draw 3-3 with Everton at Old Trafford, Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s last-gasp goal denying United of all three points. Man Utd have slipped five points behind rivals and league leaders Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
But things are much worse for Sunday’s hosts, West Brom, who are languishing in 19th with just two wins from 23 games so far this season. Things haven’t improved since Sam Allardyce took over the in the dugout, with the Baggies taking just five points from his 10 games in charge, conceding a whopping 28 goals in the process. West Brom are now 11 points from safety and time is running out if they’re to turn things around and avoid an immediate return to the Championship.

West Brom vs Man Utd: Match Stats
Man Utd are looking to record a Premier League double over West Brom for the first time since the 2011-12 season under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Man Utd striker Edinson Cavani is looking to score in three consecutive league games for the first time since January 2019 with PSG. Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes averages a goal or assist once every 84 minutes in the Premier League, the best ratio of the 1685 players with at least five goal involvements in the competition’s history.
Sam Allardyce has won just one of his last 22 matches against Man Utd (D5 L16).
Man Utd are currently on a club-record 18-game unbeaten run in Premier League away games (W13 D5).
West Brom have a surprisingly good recent record against Man Utd, winning three of their last eight meetings and not conceding more than two goals in a single game since March 2014, a run spanning nine matches. That said, given West Brom’s record under Allardyce and Man Utd’s form away from home, that might change here.
