Leicester vs West Brom: Predictions
Brendan Rodgers’ side earned themselves a spot in the FA Cup final on Sunday after their 1-0 victory over Southampton at Wembley Stadium. Kelechi Iheanacho netted yet another goal to earn his side a huge win in what has already been a successful season so far domestically. The Foxes currently sit in third place with the prospect of returning to Champions League football a real possibility.
As for Sam Allardyce’s West Brom, their hopes of Premier League survival took another blow on the weekend following Newcastle United’s surprise 3-2 win against the high-flying West Ham. The Baggies hold a game in hand over 17th-placed Burnley, however, remain nine points off Sean Dyche’s side with just seven games remaining of their season.
Manchester United’s victory against Burnley on Sunday pulled them clear in second place leaving third the realistic best finish possible finish in the league for Rodgers’ side. Chelsea could temporarily leapfrog the Foxes into third place following their game on Tuesday – albeit having played an extra game than Leicester.
Leicester vs West Brom: Match Stats
Iheanacho stepped up during the absence of Jamie Vardy during his injury issues, however, the 34-year-old has struggled to find form again since returning. Fortunately for the Foxes, their Nigerian striker has continued his fine run of form which has seen him score seven goals in his last five Premier League games – including a hat-trick against bottom side Sheffield United.
No side has conceded more goals than West Brom this season. The Baggies have allowed 59 goals this season despite their goalkeeper, Sam Johnstone, having had an impressive season which saw him earn a call up to Gareth Southgate’s most recent England squad.

The Baggies have not beaten the Foxes in their last five attempts across all competitions and given the gap between the two in the league table, the odds are as expected heavily against Allardyce’s men. However, they have shown signs in recent weeks of turning their form around but Premier League safety seems a step too far with only a handful of games remaining.
