Wales will be looking for a big away result to truly kick-start their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign. After making three of the last four major tournaments, the Dragons’ expectations have been lifted dramatically, but while they remain in the mix in Group D, they haven’t been convincing. A shock 4-2 loss at home to Armenia last time out has left them with just four points from three games, level on points with Croatia who already have one game in hand, while they’re two behind Monday’s opponent.

Turkey’s only loss so far has come against UEFA Nations League finalists Croatia and while they’ve hard to work hard for the results, victories against Armenia (2-1) and Latvia (3-2) have left them well-placed. Both those wins came away, so Stefan Kuntz’s side will now look to make the most of home advantage and cement themselves at the top of the standings.
