Watford were last in action December 28th when they were hammered 4-1 by West Ham despite taking a fourth minute lead through Emmanuel Dennis. It continues a miserable run for the Hornets who have lost five straight although they have netted at least once in each of these defeats. They sit 17th just two points above Burnley but the Clarets have two games in hand of them. At home, they have managed just one victory in their last eight although six of their eight opponents were in the top eight.
Tottenham will have been disappointed to take only a point from their last game despite playing against ten men for fifty minutes in their 1-1 draw with Southampton. It does mean the North London are now seven matches unbeaten in the Premier League picking up 15 points from the last 21 on offer. Harry Kane is in good scoring form with three in three while Son has three in four. On the road, Spurs are winless in their last six although their last two have finished all-square.
Watford vs Tottenham: Match Stats
Antonio Conte has done a good job since coming in as Tottenham manager and with four victories in their last six they look good things against a Watford side who have lost five straight. The Hornets have bagged in each of these defeats so extend the price by taking an away win and both teams to score.
Emmanuel Dennis is in excellent form and will want to sign off for the AFCON tournament (where he will be representing Nigeria) with a goal. He has five in his last six and comes up against a defence with just one road clean sheet in their last six.
