Switzerland were held to a goalless draw by Norway last time out, preventing them from securing a spot in the knockout stages with a game to spare. However, following their 2-0 win over Philippines in the opening round of fixtures, the Swiss know a point here would be enough. “I am filled with immense pride. There were too many unforced turnovers, we didn’t see those turnovers in our game against Norway. This time we had more than we wanted. We will review, we will look at the game, we will look for a way we can go against Switzerland. We will keep fighting.” head coach Jitka Klimkova commented afterwards.
