Swansea vs Nottingham Forest: Predictions
Swansea has two games in hand on the two sides above them in the Championship table and should they win both of them they would find themselves at the top of the tree. However, they will be looking to avoid a slip up against a Nottingham side flirting with the relegation zone.
Forest held promotion-hopefuls Bournemouth to a 0-0 draw on the weekend and find themselves on a four-game unbeaten run in the league. Despite their recent form in the league, Forest will be hoping they can avoid similar humiliation they faced in the FA Cup last month in an emphatic 5-1 victory for the Swans in Wales.
Last time out in the league, Swansea beat league leaders Norwich in an impressive 2-0 victory at the Liberty Stadium. Andre Ayew helped himself to another goal on the day which has seen the striker’s tally rise to nine in the league for the season.
The Swans edged a 1-0 victory last time the two sides met earlier in the season through a first-half goal from Connor Roberts. Steve Cooper will have his eyes on all three points as he aims to move one step closer to the top of the Championship table and automatic promotion.

No team in the Championship has conceded fewer goals than Swansea (15) this season. Second-placed Brentford has conceded double the goals of Cooper’s side and Freddie Woodman will be hoping he can keep his 16th clean sheet of the league season against a Nottingham side which has only scored 25 goals this season in the league.
Contrasting to their form in the FA Cup, the Swans have no exactly been free-scoring in the league this season, however, they will be aiming to put a couple past Forest who have conceded 30 goals this season.
