Spain Women vs Netherlands Women odds
A clash between two of the Women’s World Cup hopefuls, this isn’t a match up that would have been expected on this side of the draw with neither finishing where they were tipped to in the group. Spain were expected to top Group C and went into the final game against Japan only needing a draw to seal first place, but a 4-0 defeat saw them drop to second. They did have a fairly favourable tie in the last 16 against Group A winners Switzerland who had underwhelmed and turned on the style with a 5-1 victory.
Netherlands, on the other hand, were tipped by many to finish second in their group which also included the United States. But Andries Jonker’s side beat Portugal and Vietnam either side of a draw with the United States to finish two points clear of the defending champions. That set up a last 16 tie against shock knockout appearance-makers South Africa, and a comfortable 2-0 victory saw Netherlands reach the quarter-finals of the World Cup for the second time, after 2019’s run to the final.

Spain Women vs Netherlands Women match tip
Jill Roord to score anytime @ 11/2 with Paddy Power
With Vivianne Miedema not in the squad due to injury, Jill Roord as been the slightly unlikely name to replace her when it comes to goals. As part of Netherlands’ central midfield three, Roord pushes further forward to join the attackers and it has been working for both her and her team. The Manchester City midfielder has four goals at the World Cup so far and only Thembi Kgatlana (19) has had more shots than Roord’s 18.
Spain Women vs Netherlands Women Bet-Builder tip
Jenni Hermoso to score anytime, Jackie Groenen to be booked & Spain to qualify with Bet365
Spain have been sharing the goals at the World Cup this summer with three players on three each. One of those is Jenni Hermoso, who has also hit the target with seven of her 15 shots at the World Cup so far. In the midfield battle, Netherlands will be missing Danielle van de Donk which will increase the pressure on Jackie Groenen who has committed 12 fouls at the World Cup without getting booked. Will her luck run out?

Laia Codina was the player chosen to partner Irene Paredes at the heart of the Spain defence against Switzerland but she did score a bizarre own goal, before later finding the right net. Spain will no doubt be hoping Ivana Andres can return from her injury.
