Spain qualified for the knockout stages as Group B winners after a 90th minute equaliser from Abel Ruiz saw them top the group ahead of Ukraine on goal difference. La Rojita have now made it to at least the quarter-final stage in each of the last four tournaments and are aiming to win the tournament for a record breaking sixth time.

Their 2-1 win over Norway in their opening game was enough to see them through to the quarter-finals on goal difference after they finished level on points with both Italy and Norway.

This will be Switzerland’s first appearances in the knockout stages since 2011, when they finished as runners-up to none other than Spain. Goals from Ander Herrera and Thiago gave them a 2-0 win at the Aarhus Stadion.
