Southampton picked up only their first victory of the season last weekend as an Armando Broja goal was enough to see them past Leeds. It has been a slow start to the season for the Saints with four draws and three defeats prior to that victory. At St Mary’s Stadium, they have a mixed record with victory over Leeds, draws with Southampton and West Ham and a defeat to Wolves.
Burnley saw their two-game unbeaten run come to an end as they were beaten 2-0 at the Etihad by Man City. The Clarets are still chasing their first win of the campaign with three draws and five defeats in their first eight. Away from Turf Moor, they have lost at Man City, Liverpool and Everton but did draw at Leicester.

Southampton vs Burnley: Match Stats
The hosts have won just one of four here this campaign and go off too short for all three points here given their struggles in front of goal. Burnley are not flying but they did pick up a point at Leicester and look the value along with the draw in the double chance market.
Maxwel Cornet already has one goal and one assist to his name and looks too big here given last weekend against Man City he was often used as a second striker off Chris Wood. Even he drops on to the flank he looks more than capable of scoring so back him to do so here.
