Scotland were outclassed in their last qualifier going down 2-0 to Denmark in Copenhagen.  Losing to the Euro 2020 semi-finalists is no disgrace but it does mean that they are likely to be one of three sides (Israel and Austria are the others) battling for second behind the Scandinavians.  They will be pleased to back at their own ground where they have lost just one of the last nine.

Moldova were also beaten in midweek suffering a 2-0 home loss to Austria that leaves them bottom of the group.  They have picked up just one point from their four played which came against the Faroe Islands.  They have conceded 15 times already in the group stages including eight against Denmark.

Scotland vs Moldova: Match Stats

Nine of the last 11 goals that Scotland have scored in home matches have come after the second-half while six of the last eight Moldova have grabbed have come after half-time.  It looks logical then to take the second 45 minutes to have the most goals.

Ryan Fraser was played up front against Denmark and looked dangerous with the selfless Che Adams working alongside him.  The Newcastle man should be given plenty of opportunities against a defence that has leaked 15 goals in their last four and he looks good first goalscorer value.
