RB Leipzig vs Man Utd: Predictions
Group H is one of the few groups in the Champions League that still has everything on the line going into the final round of fixtures. Manchester United, PSG and RB Leipzig are all tied on nine points, with head-to-head possibly being the tie breaker.
Fortunately for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his men, they only need a draw to secure their spot in the last-16 due to their superior head-to-head record against RB Leipzig. However, last week’s defeat to PSG means that even a win may not be good enough for top spot, unless the French side drop points to Istanbul Basaksehir.
And Solskjaer does not have a good record in the Champions League losing five of his nine matches as manager so far, including two this season.
For RB Leipzig it’s simple. Only a win will guarantee their spot in the Champions League knockout stages, while a draw is likely to condemn them to the Europa League unless PSG lose to Istanbul.

These two sides have only previously met once in competitive football, with Man Utd cruising to a 5-0 win at Old Trafford earlier this season. However, they do have history against teams from the opposition country.
RB Leipzig beat Tottenham twice in the Champions League last-16 in 2019/20, en route to reaching the semi-finals, while Manchester United have faced Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, Schalke, Stuttgart, Borussia Dortmund and Vorwärts Berlin with a record of 16 wins, eight draws and eight defeats.
