The Scottish FA Cup final takes place this Saturday (3:00pm kick-off) as league runners up Rangers take on a Hearts side that came third. The Edinburgh side have had a week off while the Glasgow outfit suffered a heartbreaking penalty loss in the Europa League final on Wednesday evening.
These two sides have met four times already this season with Rangers winning three of these and the other finishing all-square. Alfredo Morelos enjoys a battle against the Jambos grabbing three in three.
Rangers come into this game in good form with no domestic league defeat to a side not named Celtic since November when Motherwell defeated them in the League Cup. Hearts have failed to win any of their last four losing three of these.
Eight of the last ten that the Gers have played in all competitions have seen both teams find the back of the net. Hearts have also seen each of their last three and seven of their last eight do the same.
Alfredo Morelos is Rangers leading scorer this season with 11 goals while Kemar Roofe has ten for the campaign. Liam Boyce is the leading Hearts goal getter with ten while Barry McKay has ten assists to his name.
Rangers vs Hearts : Match Stats
The Gers have won three of four against Hearts this season and they are undoubtedly the stronger side. They have suffered Europa League heartbreak in midweek but they should have a big enough squad to come out on top here. Enhance the price on a home win with both teams to score which is a common occurence with both sides.
Given the busy week Rangers have had they will not want this fixture to go into extra-time and penalties. I imagine if it is close at half-time the Glasgow outfit will push forward in the second period. Back the second 45 minutes to feature the most goals.
