  • West Ham have won just two of 12 matches in 2024 (D6 L4)

Wolves to continue impressive home form

After defeat to Aston Villa and a draw against Burnley, Wolves return to Molineux hoping to get back to winning ways and continue their impressive home record this season.

Gary O’Neil’s side have performed well on the whole since Christmas Eve, with only the top three sides in the Premier League table picking up more points in that time. At home, they have won six of their last nine home Premier League matches (D1 L2) and are looking to win three consecutive Premier League home games for the first time since May last season.

West Ham, meanwhile, put their 4-3 defeat to Newcastle behind them with a hard fought 1-1 draw against London rivals Tottenham in midweek. They have struggled this calendar year, winning just two of their 12 matches (D6 L4), with no side drawing more PL games in that time than the Hammers (6).

Their away matches have also seen goals, with their last 20 away Premier League matches seen at least two goals scored, with 75 scored in total (32 for, 43 against). Last time out on the road, they lost 4-3 to Newcastle despite leading 3-1, their first away Premier League loss when 2+ goals ahead since May 2011 at Wigan Athletic.

Wolves vs West Ham match tip

Jarrod Bowen to score anytime @ 9/4 with Bet365

Jarrod Bowen can make history against Wolves. The forward is just one goal away from becoming the first player in the Premier League era to score 20+ goals across all competitions in a top-flight campaign for West Ham United, while two goals will see him become West Ham’s highest ever goalscorer in a single PL campaign, overtaking Paolo Di Canio.

He has been involved in 12 goals in his 14 away Premier League appearances this season (8 goals, 4 assists), the joint-most by a Hammers player in a single season in the competition, along with Dimitri Payet in 2015-16 (5 goals, 7 assists).

The Hammers’ only victories in 2024 have come against struggling Brentford and Everton.
