Juventus vs Porto: Predictions
Porto stunned the Italian giants in Portugal two weeks ago as they sent Andrea Pirlo’s side back to Turin with a 2-1 defeat in the first leg of their last 16 ties. The Old Lady clawed back a late goal to half the deficit and take a valuable away goal back to the Allianz Stadium.
Since the defeat to Porto, Juve has put both Crotone and Spezia to the sword in 3-0 victories in the Serie A and the Italian giants will be looking to do the same to Porto to earn their place in the final eight in the competition. Pirlo’s side also put three goals past Lazio on Saturday in an encouraging 3-1 victory to help them close the gap on the two Milan sides.
Porto has won two of their four games since their impressive victory in the Champions League. Sérgio Conceição’s side cruised to a 2-0 victory away to Gil Vicente on Saturday which saw them move up to second in the Primeira Liga – albeit having played a game more than Braga.

Juventus vs Porto: Match Stats
Juventus have won their two previous home games in the Champions League against Porto. Winning 3-1 in 2001 and 1-0 just a few years ago in 2017. Pirlo’s side can take some confidence in the excellent home record in the knockout stages of the Champions League with only two defeats in their last 12 games.
Cristiano Ronaldo ended the first leg without a goal, however, the Portuguese forward is the top scorer in Serie A with 20 goals and has scored 10 goals in 10 home games for Juventus in the Champions League. With Juventus currently heading for the exit, the 36-year-old will be looking to drag his side through to the quarter-finals.
