Nottingham Forest battled gamely against Newcastle last weekend but were ultimately outclassed by the upwardly mobile Magpies going down 2-0. Forest found it difficult to create much of note, but despite conceding 23 shots on the opening day many of these were classed as difficult xg chances.
The City Ground will be buzzing for the return to top-flight football here for the first time since 1999. This year only two sides have managed to win a competitive game at this ground, Liverpool in the FA Cup and Sheffield United in the play-offs.
West Ham will also be looking to bounce back from an opening day defeat finding themselves the first (and undoubtedly not the last) victims of the lethal Erling Haaland. A 2-0 loss to Man City was a fair reflection as they struggled for possession and to create chances against the defending champions.
On the road, the Hammers were reasonable last season winning seven times, drawing three and losing nine. They did end the last campaign in poor away form winning just one of their alst eight which came against Norwich.

Newcastle did a good job of keeping him quiet last weekend but the Hammers will have a hard time and he is worth siding with in the player shots on target market.
