Norwich City have won their last eight games in the Championship and have extended their lead at the top of the table to 10 points from second-placed Watford with just 10 games left to play for Daniel Farke’s side. In those eight games, Norwich have scored 18 goals and conceded just three.

Nottingham Forest appear to be safe from this season’s drop given the lack of results being picked up by thee teams in the relegation zone. However, Forest will simply be hoping to see the back of this season as Chris Hughton’s side currently lie in 17th-place.

Forest have won just two of their last six games, however, their win against Blackburn Rover and draw against Bournemouth proved they are capable of providing an upset but failing to score more than one goal in each of the 90 minutes in their last six games has proven difficult for Hughton’s side to clinch all three points on occasions.

The Canaries had to dig in to earn all three points on Saturday after finding themselves 1-0 down within the first 10 minutes of the game and did not take the lead until 77 minutes deep with Todd Cantwell sealing the points for Farke’s side.

Teemu Pukki kept pace with Ivan Toney over the weekend with both strikers finding the back of the net in their respective games. However, Pukki is still five goals behind the leading goal scorer, Toney. The Finnish striker will be looking to find the back of the neet on Wednesday against a team who have proven to be a difficult nut to crack at times in recent weeks defensively.

In Forest’s last eight games in the Championship, there have not been more than two goals scored. Various 1-1 draws and narrow victories could set the tone for the game on the weekend with Hughton’s side looking to stay resolute at the back against the in-form canaries.
