Norwich vs Brentford: Predictions
Norwich maintained their seven-point gap at the top of the Championship on the weekend with a 2-0 victory over the bottom side Wycombe Wanderers. Another goal from Teemu Pukki put the Canaries in the lead with his 18th goal of the season.
Wednesday’s visitors Brentford fought from behind on Saturday to prevail against Stoke. After conceding within the first minute, goals from Vitaly Janelt and Ivan Toney in the second half proved enough for the Bees to earn all three points and maintain the gap to the top spot.
The two sides drew 1-1 earlier in the season when they met, however, a win for Norwich this time around would give them a comfortable 10-point gap at the top of the league as the season heads into the business end. Should Brentford fail to pick up a result at Carrow Road they could be put under serious pressure from Watford who play Wycombe on the same night.
Given what is at stake, the game is set to be another close affair with neither side wanting to risk losing the game which could see a similar game as to what we saw earlier in the season.
