Mexico odds: To win 2022 World Cup, how far will they go, top scorer and more
Mexico will be making their eighth consecutive World Cup finals appearance in Qatar.
In seven previous tournament outings El Tri have successfully escaped the group phase but would immediately be sent home. In fact the only two occasions Mexico were a final eight participant came in 1970 and 1989, when they hosted the championship.
Can the North American side finally play a quarter-final World Cup game away from home or will their round of 16 hoodoo continue to linger?

Mexico’s potential path to 2022 World Cup final
Mexico were subsequently placed in Pot 2 for the World Cup finals draw meaning they could find themselves in a favourable group, but there are no easy games at this level, if Gerardo Martino’s side are to continue their nations streak of qualifying for the knockout stages then it’s on them to be at their very best.
