The Netherlands have made a good start to the group stages beating Belgium 4-1 on the opening day before defeating Wales 2-1 on matchday two. It means it is now 11 unbeaten for the Dutch with eight of these finishing all-square.
Poland started the campaign well with a 2-1 defeat of Wales before a 6-1 hammering by Belgium in midweek. That marked just the second defeat in their last 11 games for the Polish side although both defeats have come in their last five fixtures.
The last time these sides met was a pair of fixtures in the 2020 Nations League that were both won by the Netherlands. It is in fact five straight victories and 10 without defeat for the Dutch against the Poles.
