Napoli vs Juventus: Predictions
Andre Pirlo’s side will be looking to keep their spot in the Serie A title race as they aim to close down the two Milan clubs with a win over Napoli on Saturday. Juventus sealed their place in the Coppa Italia final during the week with a 0-0 draw at home to Inter Milan (2-1 Agg.)
Napoli could have joined Pirlo’s side in the final, however, their 3-1 drubbing away to Atalanta cost them their spot in May’s final. The two sides met only a matter of weeks ago in the Supercoppa Italiana final in which goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata secured the cup for Juve.
Despite recently turning 36-years-old, Ronaldo has maintained his impressive goals return this season as he leads the race for the Capocannoniere title with 16 league goals.
Saturday’s hosts currently lie in sixth spot, but a with a game in hand on both Lazio and Roma, a win against his former-AC Milan teammate could take Gennaro Gattuso’s side up into the top four.

Napoli vs Juventus: Match Stats
The two sides lead the Serie A defensive records with Juventus having only conceded 18 goals this seasons and Napoli narrowly behind on 21. However, the hosts slightly edge their visitors in goals scored this season with 44 to Juve’s 41. It is Napoli’s scoring form at home which impresses the most with 27 goals at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona (second behind Inter Milan).
Napoli are expected to be without key players in Kalidou Koulibaly, Dries Mertens, Konstantinos Manolas which could play into the hands of Juventus who will be aiming to keep pace in the title race. Leading the race for top scorer
20 January 2021 – Juventus 2-0 Napoli – Supercoppa
17 June 2020 – Napoli 0-0 Juventus – Coppa Italia
26 January 2020 – Napoli 2-1 Juventus – Serie A
Napoli actually have a good recent record at home to Juventus, but with Pirlo’s side looking to keep pace with the two Milan clubs in the race for the title you would expect the visiting side to bring a bit extra on Saturday evening in what is expected to be a tight affair.
